Places to Visit
ARENAL – Active volcano with frequent fire eruptions and attractive lake surrounded by rainforest. Nearby Tabacon Spa and hot springs is also worth a visit and is a good observation point for the volcano.
BARRA HONDA – National Park with large caves and great panoramic views of the countryside. The mountainous terrain is ideal for hiking.
COROBICI RIVER – White water rafting with mild rapids flowing through tropical dry forest, with varied wildlife including sloths, monkeys, as well as iguanas and a variety of birds.
GUAITIL – Picturesque town set among cattle farming country, is a center of handicrafts, including the fine Chorotega Indian ceramic crafts.
PALO VERDE – National Park where cruising along the Tempisque River you can see a wide variety of flora and fauna.
In Laguna Foohas there are many thousands of birds and the mammals include monkeys and felines.
RINCON DE LA VIEJA – National Park in the rain forest, with an active volcano that has nine known craters. There is great scenery to enjoy and at the foot of the ridge, there is the Las Pailas hot springs.

Flight to San Jose, connecting with a regular flight to Liberia, in the Guanacaste region.
    Day 5 - Guanacaste
Day free to enjoy the resort's amenities. You can play a round of golf or a game of tennis, and there are water sports available. Also, fishing cruises can be arranged. (B)
  Day 2 - Guanacaste
Day free to relax and explore the surroundings. Situated in the Nicoya Peninsula on the Pacific coast, Guanacaste has some of the finest beaches in Costa Rica and picturesque villages. (B)
    Day 6 - Guanacaste
Day of relaxation. You can soak up the sun on the sandy beach at your hotel's doorstep and enjoy a stroll in the peaceful surroundings. (B)
  Day 3-4 - Guanacaste
You can go on an optional tour to the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, with its active volcano; or to the Palo Verde National Park, where you cruise along the Tempisque river and see a wide variety of flora and fauna. (B)
